A Fireside Favourite - This rich, warming red pairs with cosy evenings alongside the fire.
A regal red blend of 57% Merlot / 43% Cabernet Sauvignon . It's been crafted using grapes grown organically at Spier farm in Stellenbosch. The natural yeast flora of the grapes completed the fermentation in a combination of open top and roller French oak barrels. Thereafter, the two cultivars were pressed and blended together and aged for 12 months.

TASTING NOTE: Juicy blackberry and chocolate flavours are supported by a vibrant palate of vanilla, blackcurrant and plum, leading to a smooth finish.
SERVE WITH: A savoury snack platter, for example biltong, mild cheeses, rosemary and garlic black olives, and peppadews stuffed with feta.
APPEARANCE: Deep ruby red in colour.
